![]() Some Excellent Performances!
The 5th form concert proved to be a very pleasant evening, there were some really excellent performances. The evening started with an outstanding performance from Sam Wilson-Brown who played Brahms's Hungarian Dance No.2. Using plenty of vibrato Sam captured the mood brilliantly. This was followed by a delightful performance of Debussy's "The Girl with the flaxen hair" this was played with real maturity.
I'd also like to mention Elliot Thornhill and Tom Cowley's performance of "Knocking on heavens door" a really committed delivery of this popular song. The jazz sextet brought the evening to a close, with a great performance of Sandu and Killer Joe. |
