![]() A privilege to have been present.Young and old alike could not have failed to be impressed by Dr Aric Sigman, Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine and an Associate of the British Psychological Society, who was the speaker at King's Alcohol Awareness Day.
Dr Sigman, who has worked on teenage health education campaigns with the Department of Health, spoke to the pupils in year groups throughout the day and, in the evening, parents were invited to hear him speak. The aim of the doctor's presentation was to provide objective and reliable information about alcohol and its dangers.
It was a privilege to have been present and it was clear that parents, staff and pupils alike had taken on board what the speaker had to say. |
