Two arrangements from Mr Bertie brought the combined forces of the brass and percussion departments together; if you missed the concert then you missed a spectacular evening. There were some very good solo performances too, particularly from Sam Wilson-Brown and Will Fry. I very much enjoyed listening to the trombone quartet; they performed Walton's Trombone Cha Cha capturing the style brilliantly. I have to mention Rupert Holden, this young gap year student brought the house down with his solo performance on the Drum kit, a truly talented young man.
